William IV mahogany writing table, the rectangular top with well figured veneers over two drawers centering a square panel, supported by trestle ends joined by a turned stretcher, each with applied corbels, on carved bun feet.

England c. 1835-40

Please note: This fine sofa table bears some interesting marks, as shown in the photo. These are almost certainly inventory marks, as opposed to to makers marks. Any ideas? In my dreams they stand for Victoria Regina, Buckingham Palace. Sleep tight, Robert.....
